African Minds approaches distribution in the same way as we do production, by taking best-practice traditional methods and melding them with cutting-edge new distribution technologies.
Print copies are available for customers in Africa from Sula Book Distributors or African Minds. International distribution is managed by African Books Collective. Via this partnership, books are listed with Lightning Source in the US, UK and are printed closer to the point of sale. The partnership also ensures that African Minds books never go out of print.
African Minds titles are available via on-line bookshops such as Amazon.
In keeping with our belief in open-access publishing, African Minds makes PDFs of its titles available free-of-charge via the African Minds website as well as on Science Open, Thoth, Zenodo, the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB), OAPEN, JSTOR and on Google Books. Selected titles are also made available in electronic publication formats for e-readers.
